Terms of Service

Hollow Crown Studios · Last updated 29 September 2026

In plain language

These terms are the same terms as the Website Development Agreement each client receives. Your own agreement names your business, your price and your domain options; where it differs from this page, your signed agreement applies.

1. Parties

These terms are between Hollow Crown Studios (“the Studio”), a web design studio operating remotely, and the business the website is built for (“the Client”), as named in the Client’s agreement.

2. Scope of Work

The Studio has designed and built a complete, working preview website for the Client, at no cost and with no obligation to proceed. This preview is built around the Client’s own real business information, photos, and content, and is ready for review before any payment is made.

3. Development Terms

The Studio operates remotely and does not require an in-person meeting to complete this work. Before payment, the Client may request any reasonable changes to the preview, layout, text, images, or structure, at no additional cost. The Client is under no obligation to proceed at any stage; if the Client chooses not to continue, no payment is owed and no further action is taken.

4. Payment Structure

This is a straightforward, once-off project fee, not a commission or revenue-share arrangement. Payment is due only once the Client has reviewed the finished site and confirms they wish to proceed.

Payment timingDue only once the Client approves the final site

No hidden fees. Any changes requested after the site has gone live are handled on request, quoted separately at the time, unless the Client has selected the optional monthly Managed plan, which includes ongoing edits for as long as it is active.

5. Domain Registration

The domain will be registered directly in the Client’s name, not the Studio’s. This means the website is genuinely the Client’s property; the Studio has no ability to take the site down once it is live and paid for. Suggested domain options are listed in each Client’s agreement.

6. Zero-Risk Guarantee

The website is built in full before any payment is requested. If the Client decides, for any reason, not to proceed, there is no fee, no deposit, and no further obligation on either side.

7. Agreement

By proceeding with payment as outlined above, both parties agree to the terms described in this document.
