Privacy Policy
This page explains, in plain language, what information Hollow Crown Studios (“we”, “us”) collects through hollowcrownstudios.com, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect very little, we never sell it, and this site sets no cookies.
What we collect, and how
- Messages you send us. Our forms (the free preview form, /start, /feedback and /testimonial) have no database behind them. They write a message and open WhatsApp, and you choose whether to send it. Anything you send reaches us through WhatsApp or email, not through this website.
- The chat assistant. If you use the chat on our homepage, your questions are sent to our server so the assistant can answer. Unusual questions are passed to an AI provider (Anthropic) to write a reply. We keep a short, anonymous log of those questions (the first 120 characters, with email addresses and phone numbers removed) so we can improve the answers. The conversation is also kept in your own browser for the current tab only, and disappears when you close it.
- Visit statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It uses no cookies, does not track you across other websites, and gives us totals, not a record of you.
- Business information for previews. To build a free website preview we use information your business has already made public, such as your Google Maps listing, photos and social media pages, plus anything you send us.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies. The homepage stores two small things in your browser for the current tab only (whether you have already seen the opening animation, and your chat conversation). Neither is a cookie, neither is shared, and both clear when you close the tab. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which, like any website you visit, sees your device’s internet address when it sends the font files.
What we use it for
- To reply to you and build the website you asked about.
- To send you documents you need, such as an agreement or invoice.
- To improve our website and our answers.
What we never do
- We never sell or rent your information.
- We never ask for your passwords, including for your domain or email.
- We never add you to a mailing list without asking.
- We never publish your review or feedback without your permission.
Who else sees it
Only the services that make this work: WhatsApp (Meta) or your email provider for messages you send, Vercel for hosting this site and its visit statistics, and Anthropic for the chat assistant’s harder questions. Each has its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Messages stay in our WhatsApp and email for as long as we are working together, and for our business records afterwards. Chat logs and visit statistics are kept by our hosting provider for a limited time and then deleted automatically.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If we built a preview of your business and you would like it taken down, tell us and we will remove it.
